Fit-to-Fly Certificate in Rhodes
Medical assessment in Rhodes for travelers who may need a fit-to-fly certificate after illness, injury, surgery or other health concerns.
About This Service
Many travelers need a short medical assessment before flying after a recent illness, injury, surgery, or health event — whether for their own peace of mind or because an airline has requested documentation. Our fit-to-fly service in Rhodes provides a structured medical evaluation of your current condition, so you and your airline can understand whether you are fit to travel and what, if any, documentation is appropriate. This is not a guaranteed certificate service. Every assessment is based on your actual clinical condition on the day, and the outcome — including whether any certificate or letter can be issued — depends entirely on that examination. The assessment typically includes a review of your medical history, current symptoms or injury, any recent hospital treatment, and a physical examination where relevant, followed by a clear written outcome. If you are not fit to fly, we will explain why and help you understand your options, including whether further treatment, rest, or specialist review is needed before travel.

This is a medical assessment, not a guaranteed certificate service. Whether a fit-to-fly certificate or letter can be issued — and what it states — depends entirely on your condition at the time of examination. If you are not fit to travel, we will explain why and what your options are.
Fit-to-Fly Questions
What is a fit-to-fly assessment?
It is a medical consultation in which a doctor reviews your current health, any recent illness, injury, surgery or hospital stay, and advises whether you appear fit to travel by air and whether written documentation is appropriate.
Can you guarantee I will receive a certificate?
No. Medical certificates and fit-to-fly letters are only issued when clinically justified. The outcome depends on the assessment itself, not on the request.
Does an airline always require a medical certificate?
Not always, but many airlines request documentation after recent surgery, late-stage pregnancy, recent cardiac or respiratory illness, or certain injuries. If you already have an airline medical form (such as a MEDIF), please bring it with you.
How soon before my flight should I book the assessment?
As early as possible once you know documentation may be needed, so there is time for examination, any necessary tests, and preparation of paperwork.
